I Write Sins Not Tragedy

I had always heard this song playing over and over again on the radio last year. But, I never really paid attention to the lyrics until, after reading it just now,

Wow.

I never really got the chance to watch the music video until now. And I have to say, it is umm.. artistic in nature. Artistic as in the colorful people that are hiding behind their facades. What a whore of a bride and a very naive groom. This music video and song makes me sad, but not really at the same time. It makes me feel, somewhat emotional. Especially the part when,

the bride whispers "I love you." and the groom answers back with a soft "I love you too."

Sigh...

People should be a bit more careful with their words and say things that they actually mean.

Oh, well imagine, as I'm pacing the pews in a church corridor,
and I can't help but to hear, no I can't help but to hear an exchanging of words:
"What a beautiful wedding! What a beautiful wedding!" says a bridesmaid to a waiter.
"And yes, but what a shame, what a shame, the poor groom's bride is a whore."

I'd chime in with a "Haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?!"
No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality.
I'd chime in, "Haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?!"
No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of...

Well in fact, well I'll look at it this way, I mean technically our marriage is saved
Well this calls for a toast, so pour the champagne
Oh! Well in fact, well I'll look at it this way, I mean technically our marriage is saved
Well this calls for a toast, so pour the champagne, pour the champagne

I'd chime in with a "Haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?!"
No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality.
I'd chime in, "Haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?!"
No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality.

Again..
