Did I ever blog about how I was extremely starstruck and joyful when I found their CD that I had thought I had forever lost inside my garage?

Finally after 4 years.

I have to say they would be one of my top favorite bands. Good stuff.
Not sure if they are popular or anything. Perhaps not in the states, since they're from the UK.

I love their song "Last Train Home". Beautiful lyrics.

I was reading a lot of interpretations about this song. Most of them are far from how I interpret it.

I have read these lyrics, over and over again.
This will perhaps be one of the first songs that I ever take time and scrutinize and dig for their deeper meaner.

My interpretation of the main point of this song is how people should not let anything trivial things get them down.
Actually, things that aren't trivial should not bring you down also.
Because there is always a tomorrow.
A tomorrow, a new day to start over.

But some people do not realize it.
All they do is complain ("sing") and dwell upon their problems.
They cannot and will not get over it.
They believe their problems and sadness were thrust upon them with force.
But it is actually their choice that had caused them their own sadness.
They are only bringing it up on themselves by dwelling on it day by day.

On the other hand, they have the choice to just drop it and start fresh.
Some people don't take that choice though.
It is more easy to keep lingering on one thing instead of getting up and start changing.

Also, I forgot to add how the song ridicules about,
How some people who had lost "loves".
Are traumatized and "swear" to never love again.
They are willing to give it all up and never try again.
Just because of that one person.

Just because that happens.
It doesn't mean it will happen all the time or again.

Keep on trying and moving along.

Telling People What You Do Mentally,

I think I do that sometimes. It's annoying.

But I think it's extremely annoying when you read other people's
profiles saying for example(don't want to offend certain people but I
think this is a great example), "I am a deep thinker, contemplating
about life as usual."

Do you really have to say "as usual" to make yourself seem more deeper
and wiser?

No no wait. I don't think I have a problem with people writing about
what they do mentally.

But what bothers me is when they say "as usual". Don't you think it's
absolutely unescessary(sp?)?

Another example,

"I'm being all smart and was the top scorer of our math final, as
usual."

"I'm reading about physics and getting in depth with the laws of
gravity, as usual."

"I'm always writing deep, meaningful, & philosophical thoughts into my
diary, as usual."

It sounds so, arrogant and boastful in most cases.

"As usual." Is a cry out for attention, demanding the reader to pay
attention to a detail the writer wants them to pay attention to. The
writer tries to be casual about their self promoting statement by adding
"as usual". It doesn't work.

Or at least, that is how I analyze it. I don't like cries for attention.
But hey, for some people,

"Negative attention is better than no attention."

Goodness me.

Oh and I mean, "I'm bored and playing on my computer, as usual." Would
be an exception. Anything that doesn't promote yourself or make you seem
smarter or cooler is an exception towards the "as usual" phrase.

Oh. & Sarcasm would always be an exception towards anything and
everything.

Walking Alex's Dogs & More,

After my SAT Prepping, I came over to Alex's house to walk his doggies!
First thing we did was clean his doggies.

Magenta was first to go! I find it ironic how Magenta is named Magenta
when she is clearly not the color of Magenta. Why not name her....
Brownie? Or Brown? Or Light Brownie? :D

Magenta wasn't scared of the hose water as much as Lucky. Lucky was
scared scared scared! Since Alex couldn't find doggie shampoo, we just
rinsed them with water.

Magenta was being all nice and still during the Lucky bath. I thought
she was a good doggie. Until....we started the walking.

Oh boy, she was a wild one. Alex got Lucky on a leash. As in
disciplined. Magenta kept on pulling on the leash, thus choking herself
in the process. She kept on doing it! I thought she'd stop from the pain
but she continued on! It was so sad.

Lucky & Magenta wanted to pee everywhere! Alex had control of Lucky
while I being the passive one, let her pee everywhere. Well... not
everywhere... but in most places.

After a bit, we decided to stop waking the doggies. Alex gave me a tour
of his unfinished house! Two times in one day. His refrigerator is huge!
I spread my upper body over it because it was nice metally, cold, and
refreshing.

Oh yeah! Before that, Alex trapped me in his mini house's bathroom and
turned off the lights. I'm surprised I wasn't screaming. I usually would
be.

No lights + Bathroom + Mirror = Scary

Alex was there too, so I had nothing to worry about.
Oh yeah! I got to put delicious smelling lotion on Alex!
It smells.... so good.

Oh! Anyways, during the tour, we were trapped in another bathroom! The
master bedroom bathroom. No 7-11 walking this time though!

Another time baby boo.

Mark my words, I will sensitize you! 100%!

Afterwards I watched Alex play this one UFO game on Kong. Which reminds
me, I still need to make a post about how Alex & I were bitching and
making fun of this one attention whore in the chatroom.

Anyways! It was intriguing watching Alex play.
Although, HE CHEATS BY HAVING HIS SISTERS EARN HIM BADGES SECRETLY.
CHEATER!!! CHEATER!!!!!!!

LOL!!!!!! Which reminds me of this funny scene. Where Alex stands next
to Catherine playing on the computer and saying, "It's my turn now."
Catherine would exit out of her game and Alex in turn would say, oh just
kidding. LOLOL! You are such a little jerk Alex~

After that Alex went to microwave some Vienna sausages. Alex told me to
stop it once it got to 30 seconds. So I was waiting for it to turn 30
seconds, I didn't notice that the timer was elapsed instead of how much
time was left till the food was done.

So I left it on till it dinged. Which made me go,

Then Alex yelled at me because now he had wrinkly sausages. ;~~;

*hides in upright fetal position*

Oh so I don't remember what I said but Alex was like "HMPH!". So I was
like Nyuuuuu~~~ *going to huggle Alex* and I knocked his bowl, knocking
out one of his sausages. ;_____;

WHY AM I SUCH A CLUTZ TODAY?! So sad....

But Alex gave me a kissie anyway. ^o^ <3

Oh! I also got a taste of what Vienna sausages for the first time today!
It kind of tasted like hot dogs. Yum.

Then I had to go home.

Alex walked me out of the gate and gave me huggles & kissies. Also
tricking me that his mother came home. Which scared the heck out of me.
Since HE did not tell his parents I came over. TSK TSK TSK!

But it's okie. I had good bonding time with you today.

After School Alex showed me a Flippy bug! When Alex flipped it over, it
pretended to be dead and it didn't flip for us. Then Alex had to go
home! Then I went back to the bug to stare at it. Christina kept on like
stepping near it and it made the air flip it back right up. Then I
flipped it back onto it's under side. It started to vigorously squirm
around and BAM it flipped! Everyone was like, OMG OMG OMG!!! DO IT
AGAIN!! So I did it again!

I was trying to take a picture of it while it was wriggling around and
BAM! It flipped when my phone got near it and everyone screamed. IT WAS
FREAKY! THEN I was gonna flip it over again but ALICE just had to STOP
ME, CALLING ME A BUG ABUSER.

So I told Xiu to continue on with the legacy and flip the bug.
The bug was like *lifeless* because it was too tired to flip right away.
After like a minute or two it just rolled over.

I picked up Alex at around 2PM.
We watched some House.
Then we watched "Wedding Crashers".

When working in a group I would usually be the boss because I am
embedded with skills of being bossy, a more nicer and aesthetically
pleasing word a.k.a. "Leadership".

I noticed recently, ever since my cold war magazine group project. That
I like to boss people around. Most people already deem me as the boss of
the group. Mainly because they can trust me with the responsibility of
getting things down. It's a lot of work.

I am quite bossy and it might seem that I am bitchy but it is only for
the good and benefit of them though.

I realized as I was doing most of the "Map" for Huck Finn that I hate
lazy people. I hate working with people I can't depend on and are lazy.
I have a great hatred for them. They won't got far in life.

Everyone in my family thinks I'm lazy. I'm not lazy.
It's just they do everything and I might as well take advantage of it.
If they were to just leave me home alone with some money. I am very sure
that I can survive.

My mother always complains about that if she wasn't there, I'd be dead.
No no no. Wrong. I am very capable of caring for myself. I'm more
independent than dependent. Sure, I am forgetful sometimes but that
doesn't mean that it'd kill me.

I hope the mystical teller woman assured my mother about my dependency.
She told my mother that "I would be fine by myself and that I am capable
of taking care of me. No need to worry about her."

Alex's Birthday Party,

I met Alex's family for the first time today!

I was pretty nervous. Seriously nervous.

I came over to Alex's house at around late 9'ish! After I dropped Ngoc
off at Viet School.

I can't believe Alex was left alone....with a GIRL in the house. :O

YOU NO LONGER OWE ME ANYMORE. YAY.

It was hilarious how Alex made his two friends stay outside.

We watched AVP and watched baby aliens penetrate humans and kill them
from the inside out!

After Alex's Mother & Catherine came home from Costco, we went over to
Alex's Aunt's house in CM. It was a nice neighborhood! Pretty tight
security.

The day was cold at first, but started to shine as Alex entered the
gates to the pool area. Oh magical AVN, show me your ways!

We swam and swam and swam. More like wading. Or atleast for me I was
wading the whole time. I REFUSE TO SWIM!!

Alex forgot to do something before he got out of the jacuzzi. YOU
HILARIOUS LITTLE BOY! :D Zipzipzipzip!

Then we went back into the pool back and forth. Then we got up and dried
off for a bit. And Alex got me a hot dog. It was a good hot dog. Oh
dear, that sounds kinda.....weird!

Then Alex went back into the pool. I stayed on land because I wanted to

Later on, I was peer pressured to go back inside the pool.
I HAVE SUCCUMBED TO PEER PRESSURE. NO!!!! It was all good. As long as I

Then I went back onto land. The wind was starting to pick up! Then it'd
be too cold while I dry off.

Then it was shower time! It was so cool!! The shower had HOT & COLD
switches! Talk about fancy pants. WE GET OPTIONS! YAY!!

Afterwards it was time to go cut Alex's birthday cake.
I'm sad. I sang in an extremely monotone voice.

Alex gave me a cherry for my cake slice! I feel special because they
were rare.

Hmm.. I was a bit disappointed today. But I just realized and accepted
it because everyone's like that. No need to worry! It's understandable.

Cereal & Cold War Project,

It's 12:36 in the afternoon and I'm kinda eating a whole load of cereal.
I was totally procrastinating on my cold war project because I was
seriously distracted by "Dear DeLaGhetto," videos. WHYY?
WHYYYYYYY?!?!?!?! ALL OF THE TITLES ARE SO ALLURING, IT MAKES ME WANT TO
CLICK THEM. For example, "Bloody Vaginas & Marriage" & "Pedofiles &
Slutty Ex's". I am seriously. Who WOULDN'T CLICK on videos with those

How did I get so interesting and "weird"*? How are people so boring? I
just sat in the car thinking about that. I had a good discussion with
Alice & GH but it ended short because I became sleepy.

But seriously, there were two sides to the argument.

Humans are born with blank slates Vs Humans being born with certain
character traits or personality ( no not like mental disabilities )

Nature Vs. Nurture

I am leaning more to blank slate. We are affected and influenced by our
society. I can't really imagine how....we can be born with personality
traits. But people can argue against that.

It's pretty interesting but mind boggling.

Was giving me the extreme shakes.

I was waiting in line at B&N and goodness gracious.

My left hand that was holding my drink, started to profusely shake. I
COULDN'T STOP IT. There was a lady behind me. So I put my hand down by

I came home, then I heard Chi Uyen's voice and I ran downstairs yelling

I havent seen her in about 2 months! Since my "surprise" birthday
